Carol Ann Rainey

Mrs. Carol Ann Rainey, age 58, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2023.

Mrs. Rainey was born in Rockmart, on June 1, 1964, a daughter of the late William Harry “Bill” Bramlett and Betty Ann Camp Bramlett. Carol had lived all of her life in Rockmart where she was a graduate of Rockmart High School. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She had a great love for the Lord and her family. Carol was a great and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

Carol is survived by her husband of thirty six years, Greg Rainey of Rockmart to whom she was married on November 1, 1986; children, Dustin Rainey and his wife Tori and Ansley Hitchcock and her husband, Dakota, all of Rockmart; grandchildren, Rainey Lee, Andi Claire, Elias Lee, and Navy Candace who is expected to arrive in August; brothers, Dale and Edwin Bramlett; sister, Lesa Head; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral and interment services will be held Monday, May 29, 2023 at 11:00 am at Rose Hill Cemetery. Her son, Dustin Rainey will deliver the eulogy and Rev. Eddy Hughes will officiate. Rev. Corey Smith will deliver the closing prayer.

Pallbearers will include Keith Rainey, Allen Dunn, Jeff Dunn, Heath Dunn, Greg Chupp, Walker Chupp, Eric Summerville, and Timothy Cochran.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church in memory of Mrs. Rainey.
