Lane Mcrae

Ms. Lane McRae, age 70, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Thursday afternoon, February 9, 2023.

Ms. McRae was born in Rome, GA, on August 23, 1952, daughter of the late Gene McRae and Mary Lane McRae. She had lived the greater part of the life in the Atlanta, GA, area and had worked for AT&T Communications and for the Georgia Depart of Family and Children Services. Ms. McRae also worked for a period of time in real estate sales.

She is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Leigh and Mike Cagle; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Robert Scott McRae, and Marvin Russell and Ruth McRae. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A memorial service for Ms. McRae will be held Friday, February 17, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Edward Murrey officiating. 

A reception will be held following the service at the home of Russell and Ruth McRae, 24 Madden Street, Taylorsville, GA 30178.
