Leanne L. Smith

Mrs. Leanne L. Smith, age 57, of Rockmart, GA, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021.

Mrs. Smith was born on November 3, 1963 in Dallas, GA, to her parents: Robert Lester and Nell Ables Lester. Leanne was a graduate of Paulding County High School. She had lived in Rockmart for the past 20 years and had attended Aragon Methodist Church. She worked for The City of Rockmart in the public works department. In her free time, she enjoyed going camping, fishing, gardening, grilling out and spending time with her friends and family. Mrs. Smith was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her loving husband, Scot Smith, Rockmart, son, Zachary Smith, Rockmart, daughters: Amanda Miller (Michael), Villa Rica and Hillary Pendley (Wayne), Rome, mother, Nell Buchanan (Jimmy), Dallas, father, Robert Lester (Denise), Dallas, brothers: David Lester (Christie), Taylorsville and Danny Elliot (Carolyn), Rockmart, sister, Teresa Childers, Aragon, grandchildren: Kaytlynn Bates, Wyatt Wallace and Matthew Pendley, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services for Mrs. Leanne Smith will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Aragon United Methodist Church at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jay Sutton officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the service hour. A meal will be served in the fellowship hall of the church following the service.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Villa Rica First United Methodist Church Food Pantry, 1789 Carrollton Villa Rica Highway, Villa Rica, GA 30180 or to the West Georgia Spay Neuter Clinic, 535 E. Montgomery Street, Suite B, Villa Rica, GA 30180 in memory of Mrs. Smith.
