Nellie Faye "Nell" Turner

Mrs. Nellie Faye “Nell” Turner, age 93, of Aragon, GA, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022.

Mrs. Turner was born on February 16, 1929 in Taylorsville, GA. She lived all her life in Aragon, GA. She was a faithful member of Aragon Baptist Church, where she was the oldest member. She was also a 50 year member of The Eastern Star #321, where she served as past Worthy Matron and was also a past Grand Representative. Nell enjoyed cooking, raising her family and being an active volunteer with The United Fund. Mrs. Turner was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, aunt and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Nell was preceded in death by her loving mother, Ozell Waters Lanham; her husband, Bobby Turner; daughters: Glenda Vaughn and Debra Wilkerson and her son, James Eugene Turner.

Mrs. Turner is survived by her loving children: Nan Thomas, Larry (June) Turner and Michael Keith (Selena) Turner; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Memorial Graveside Services for Mrs. Turner will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Aragon Cemetery.
