Ricky Dean Nation

Mr. Ricky Dean Nation, age 60, of Cartersville, GA passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022.

Ricky was born in Atlanta, GA on November 14, 1961, a son of James Nation, Sr. and Doris Youman Nation. Ricky had been a resident of Cartersville for the past ten years. He loved to work on cars and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Ricky was of the Baptist faith and worked as a brick mason.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Nation, Sr.; and brother, James Nation, Jr.

Ricky is survived by his mother, Doris Welch and her husband, Eddie; two sisters: Rebecca Lynn Dale and her husband, Anthony and Terry Donley; and his companion, Michelle McCurdy.

Celebration of life services will be held Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with eulogies given by family and friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon, June 25, 2022 from 1:00 pm until the service hour at the funeral home.
