Allie Seay Scoggin

February 11, 1925 — November 23, 2014

Allie was born on February 11, 1925, in Pisgah, Alabama. She was the fourth child of George and Mattie Seay's eight children. Her siblings were Ed, J.B., Beatrice, Doyle, Floyd, Louis and Oliver.

Allie married W. C. Craze and they had seven children: Joann, Sue, Jerry, Mary, Cathy, Johnny and Melba. From these came a multitude of descendants, totaling 26 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grands.

Later in life she reunited with her high school sweetheart, Herman Scoggin, and they were married in 1986. She symbolized her dedication to Jehovah when she was baptized in 1989.

Allie's life course was temporarily interrupted by death on November 23, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, all of her siblings, her husband, Herman, her daughter, Mary Hill, and her grand-daughter, Lindsay Purvis.

Allie leaves behind her six remaining children: Joanne Landers, Sue Nipper, Jerry Craze, Cathy Purvis, Johnny Craze, and Melba Roberson; her many "grands", along with many nieces and nephews, as well as an infinite number of friends.

Allie was well known for her love of gardening and cooking. We have fond memories of her chocolate pies, German chocolate cakes, blackberry wine, and "great granny jelly". She loved to read and quilt.

She will be deeply missed! We anxiously await resurrection morn when we can see her again.
