Anne Akins Parham

Mrs. Anne Akins Parham, age 73, of Aragon, GA, passed away Thursday afternoon, November 9, 2023, at her residence.

Anne was born in Atlanta, GA, on November 28, 1949, daughter of the late Clarence Akins and Jean Dobbs Akins. She had lived the greater part of her life in Polk County and was of the Baptist faith. Anne was a 1967 graduate of Rockmart High School and was a housewife and homemaker. She had a love for animals and was involved in animal rescue. Anne loved to garden and work in her yard, enjoyed bird watching and cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Parham, on November 19, 2013, whom she married December 9, 1967.

Anne is survived by her children, Jeri Wolfe of Aragon, Michael Parham (Bradley Dugan) of Oro Valley, AZ, and Melanie Mastrangelo (Anthony) of Breman, GA; four grandchildren, Michaela Wolfe, Aubrie Wolfe, Gavin Mastrangelo and Amelia Mastrangelo; two great-grandchildren, Aisley Wolfe and Wyatt Allen; two sisters, Kathy Mull of Calhoun, GA, and Lane Fennell of Silver Creek, GA. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In keeping with her wishes, Anne will be cremated, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
