Annette Bishop

Mrs. Annette Bishop, age 76, of Rockmart, GA passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015 in a Rome medical center.

She was born in Aragon, GA on October 17, 1939, a daughter of the late James Parker Roberson and the late Bessie Mae Deems Roberson. Mrs. Bishop had lived the greater part of her life in the Aragon and Rockmart area where she was a homemaker and a member of the Euharlee Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Esmer B. Bishop on November 25, 2011; grandson, Little Tony Bishop; and a sister Faye Duren.

Survivors include her two sons: Tony Bishop, Rockmart and Michael Bishop and his wife Lori, Rockmart; four grandchildren: D.J., Mike, Anna and Matt Bishop; two great grandchildren: Connor and Bentley Bishop; one sister, Nancy Barber, Dallas; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 3:00 PM in the Euharlee Baptist Church with Rev. Stephen Moore, Rev. Dewey Atchley and Rev. Stevie Waddell officiating. Interment will follow Thursday morning in the Georgia National Cemetery of Canton.

Pallbearers will include: Mike Bishop, Matt Bishop, D.J. Bishop, Cody Holmes, Ken Williams and Charles Bishop. Honorary pallbearers will include: Tim Durren, Todd Baker, Connor Bishop and Bentley Bishop.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 PM at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
