Annette Dunn

Mrs. Annette Dunn, age 69, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021.

Mrs. Dunn was born in Rockmart, GA on July 7, 1951, a daughter of the late M.A. Knight and the late Trudy Mozell Trammell Knight. Annette had lived in Rockmart all of her life where she was a graduate of Rockmart High School and was a member of the Oak Ridge Baptist Church. She loved her family deeply and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Annette was preceded in death by four sisters: Mittie Dyer, Frances Roberts, Patricia Knight, and Barbara Knight; three nieces: Barbara Nichols, Cindy Nichols, and Sharon Shaw; and two nephews: Tim Dyer, and Ronnie Dyer.

Survivors include her daughter, Rita Burnley and her husband, Sammy, Rockmart; two grandsons: Drew Burnley and his wife, Shae, Rockmart, and Tommy Burnley, Rockmart; great-granddaughter, Ella Belle Grace Burnley, Rockmart; two sisters, Joyce Duncan, Cedartown, and Ruby Yarbrough, Rockmart; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Conway officiating. In keeping with the family’s wishes, Mrs. Dunn will be cremated following the funeral service.

Mrs. Dunn's nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
