Annice Bolt

Mrs. Annice Bolt, age 79, of 702 Mundy Street, Rockmart passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2009 in a Rome Medical Center following a brief illness.


She was born in Polk County, GA on July 7, 1929 a daughter of the late Wade Hill and Alma Essie Wheeler Hill Freeman. Mrs. Bolt was a life long resident of Rockmart where she was a homemaker and a member of the Rockmart Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. David C. Bolt in 1993 and a brother Hollice E. Hill in 2000.


Survivors include her son, Mr. Larry Bolt of Rockmart; a step daughter, Cora Smith, Langdale, AL; two grandchildren: Scott Ferguson, Douglasville and Melissa Bolt, Tallapoosa; four step grandchildren; a great granddaughter, Larissa Bolt of Rockmart; a cousin, Barbara Journell of Virginia and her former daughter in law, Gail Bolt of Rockmart.


Funeral services will be held Friday, February 13, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Ministers Craig Hallman and Alvis Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.


Pallbearers will include: Barry Wilson, Chase Wilson, Shad Chambers, Jason Chambers, Blake Brumbelow and Doug Wheeler.


The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
