Barbara Jo Brantley

Mrs. Barbara Jo Brantley, age 68, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2023.

Barbara was born in Rockmart on December 14, 1954, a daughter of the late John Dixon “Bud’ Swann and Edna Brewer Swann. She had lived all her life in Rockmart and had retired from Prince Street Manufacturing. Barbara enjoyed shopping and could be found catching up on the latest cooking technics by watching YouTube. She cherished the time she got to spend with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by a son, Shannon Scott Brantley, two sisters, Earline Holtzclaw and Darlene Holtzclaw, and a grandson, Avery Brantley.

Barbara is survived by a son, Eric Brantley of Rockmart; daughter, Jodi Bradford of Cedartown, GA; three grandchildren, Kaitlynn Brantley, Olivia Bradford, and Brighton Bradford; three great-grandchildren, Tucker Brantley, Harrison Bradford, and Angelos Marangakis. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial services for Barbara will be Monday evening, July24, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Diggs officiating.

Barbara’s family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. until the service hour.
