Barbara Sue (Susie) Nichols

Mrs. Barbara Sue (Susie) Nichols, age 53, of Cedartown, GA passed away suddenly Sunday, July 28, 2019.

She was born in Rockmart, GA on December 29, 1965, a daughter of Donald Franklin Nichols and the late Patricia Knight Nichols. Mrs. Nichols lived the greater part of her life in Polk County where she was a graduate of Rockmart High School and attended Wimberly Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her mother, and by her sister, Donna Cindy Nichols.

Survivors include her son, Dustin Nichols and his wife Paige, Cedartown; father, Donald Nichols, Cedartown; brother, Scott Carden and his wife Erika, White, GA; two sisters: Charity Cody and her husband Hank, Rockmart and Tonya Peterson, Rome; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Benefield and Rev. Robert Wright officiating.

The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 pm until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
