Barry Lane Mallette

Mr. Barry Lane Mallette, age 63,of Cedartown, GA passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017 at his residence.

Barry was born in Gainesville, GA on February 19, 1954 a son of Cary W. Mallette and Barbara Gower Mallette. He had been a resident of Polk County since 1965 and was a 1972 graduate of Rockmart High School. He also graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Chemistry. Barry was a self employed contractor. He was preceded in death by his father and by a nephew, Cary J. Mallette.

Survivors include his mother, Barbara Mallette; sister, Tracy Stroup and brother Toby Mallette; several nephews and a number of great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his dog, Chief.

In keeping with his wishes he was cremated and no services will be held.
