Beatrice Jackson

Mrs. Beatrice Jackson, age 89, of 25 Blankenship Road Cedartown, GA passed away Saturday, December 13, 2008 at her residence following a brief illness.


She was born in Bartow County, GA on January 15, 1919 a daughter of the late John Kerr and Arzie Kelly Kerr. Mrs. Jackson had lived the greater part of her life in Polk County where she was a homemaker who loved to work in her flower garden. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence E. Jackson on April 7, 1992, by a sister, Lucille Womack and a brother Winfred Bradshaw.


Survivors include her three children: Mrs. Shirley White, Monticello, GA, Mrs. Patti Flynt, Rome and Mr. Jimmy Jackson, Cedartown; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two brothers: Mr. Harold Bradshaw and Mr. Carlee Bradshaw both of Cedartown; two sisters: Mrs. Annie Mae Brown, Cedartown and Mrs. Ellen Lewis, Cartersville; nieces and nephews also survive.


Graveside funeral and interment services will be held Sunday, December 14, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. in the Northview Cemetery with Rev. Owen Davis, Jr. officiating.


The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
