Mrs. Betty Jean Ingle, age 80, of Rockmart, GA passed away Thursday, April 3, 2014 at her residence.
She was born in Polk County, GA on May 6, 1933 a daughter of the late Richard Quick and Clever Del Jackson Quick. Mrs. Ingle had lived all of her life in Polk County where she was a homemaker and a member of the Oak Ridge Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Eugene Ingle, Sr. ; a son, Gregory Gene Ingle and by brother and sisters: Jack Quick, Mary Del Thompson, Virgie Witt and Eloise Fincher.
Survivors include a daughter, Teresa Causey and her husband Jack, Rockmart; a son, Jack E. Ingle, Jr., Douglasville; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren , two great great grandchildren and a beloved friend, Virginia Ware.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Archie Streetman and Rev. Colt Deems officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will include: Jerry Causey, Johnny Cotton, Samuel Cotton, Thomas Cotton, Christopher Cotton and Matthew Ingle. William West, Trevor Coffman and Kody Gamel will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 until 9 p.m. at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
