Betty Sue Rayburn

Mrs. Betty Sue Rayburn, age 81, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Tuesday morning, March 12, 2024, in Cartersville, GA.

Mrs. Rayburn was born in Rome, GA, on January 26, 1943, daughter of the late Marshall Willingham and Audrey Brown Willingham.  She had lived the greater part of her life in Rockmart and was a member of Morning View Baptist Church.  Mrs. Rayburn was a housewife and homemaker and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan, always enjoyed watching the Braves play.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rayburn was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Rayburn, on October 23, 2023.  A brother, Lee Willingham also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Rayburn is survived by a daughter, Valerie (Johnny) Moates of Rockmart; two sons, Gary (Stacey) Rayburn of Marietta, GA, and Chris (Brenda) Rayburn of Augusta, GA.  Seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren also survive.

Graveside and interment services for Mrs. Rayburn will be Thursday afternoon, March 14, 2024 at 4:30 p.m. in Polk Memory Gardens with Rev. Mark Purser officiating.

The family has requested that flowers please be omitted.
