Beulah Haney

Mrs. Beulah Haney, age 90, of Rockmart, GA passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016 in a Rome medical center.

She was born in Haralson County, GA on May 17, 1926 a daughter of the late Arthur Franklin White and Jessie Rebecca McDonald White. Mrs. Haney was a lifelong resident of the Bartow and Polk County area where she was a member of the Mt. tabor Baptist Church and a homemaker.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James Stanley Haney on September 24, 2001; by two sons: James "Hammer" Haney and Ernest Haney and by two granddaughters.

Survivors include three daughters: Thelma Ely, Aragon, Dorothy Hardin, Aragon and Becky Greer, Augusta; one son, Tommy Haney, Rockmart; one brother, Ray White, Birmingham, AL and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 19, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Chambers, Rev. Donnie Sutton and Rev. Brent Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will include: Cameron Greer, J.R. Haney, Ashley Haney, Jimmy Carter, Stephen Ely and Dalton Ely. The Deacons of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 until 9 p.m. at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
