Beverly Pell

Mrs. Beverly Pell, age 58, of 12 Winterwood Trail, Taylorsville, GA passed away Saturday, June 28, 2008.

She was born in York, S.C. on November 4, 1949 a daughter of Matred Childs and Barbara Arrowwood Childs. Mrs. Pell had been a resident of Taylorsville since 1990 moving here from Augusta, GA. She had been an employee of the Georgia Power Company for 21 years, presently working at Plant Bowen in security. Mrs. Pell was preceded in death by a brother, David Childs.

Survivors include her husband, Mr. David Pell of Taylorsville; three children: Ann LaBue, Jerry Gloth and Tamara Suits all of Taylorsville; seven grandchildren, one great granddaughter; parents Matred and Barbara Childs, Appling, GA; five sisters: Louise Kyles, Jonesboro, TN, Susan Sams, Warrenville, SC, Joyce DeBouse, Winston-Salem, NC, Marie Matheny, Forest City, NC and Jewell Johnson, Martinez, GA; two brothers: Robert Turner, Appling, GA and Paul Childs, Harlem, GA.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Eddy Hughes and Rev. Charles Lively officiating.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
