Billy Jack Vaughn

Mr. Billy Jack Vaughn, age 83, of Panama City, FL., formerly of Austell, GA, passed away on January 31, 2022.

Mr. Vaughn was born on April 7, 1939 in Cleburne County, AL and was the son of the late Leonard Vaughn and the late Margaret Pilgrim Vaughn. Mr. Vaughn lived the greater part of his life in Austell, GA, before moving to Panama City, FL. After retiring. He retired from Lockheed Martin. Jack enjoyed traveling, Florida being his favorite vacation spot.

Mr. Vaughn was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wives: Peggy Vaughn and Jimmy Vaughn and sisters: Frances Pittman, Linda Chambers and Louise Compton.

Mr. Vaughn is survived by his daughters: Angelia Vaughn of Panama City, FL., and Holly Vaughn of Rockmart, GA; son, Bobby Vaughn of Rockmart, GA; 4 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Vaughn was cremated and a Graveside Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Hills Creek Baptist Church Cemetery located off of Highway 113 in Rockmart, GA. Following the service, the family and friends of Mr. Vaughn will gather at the home of Pat Hanson located at 928 Compton Road Rockmart, GA 30153.
