Billy Joe Carroll

Mr. Billy Joe Carroll, age 52, of Dallas, GA and formerly of Rockmart passed away Friday, February 1, 2019 in Dallas, GA.

Billy was born in Rockmart, GA on October 2, 1966 a son of Calvin Gene Carroll and Peggie Sanders Carroll. He had lived most of his life in Rockmart but had lived most recently in Dallas, GA. Billy enjoyed life; swimming, fishing, singing and drawing. He was employed by Whitten Management Services in Dallas, GA.

He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Gene Carroll; two sisters: Regina Carroll and Melissa Hall and by a brother, Chris Patterson.

Survivors include his children: Stephanie Carroll, Adairsville, Joe Carroll (Morgan), Cartersville and Emma Bohannon, Carrollton; mother, Peggie Patterson, Rome; sister, Scarlett Bruce (Les), Adairsville; brothers: Calvin Carroll, Adairsville, Scott Carroll, Hiram, Don (Cindy) Patterson, Statham, Timothy Patterson, Winder and Toby Carroll, Meridian, MS; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Ingram and Rev. Billy Blair officiating. Cremation will follow the service.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 pm until the funeral hour at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial gifts be made in Billy's memory to The Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517.
