Brandon Davis Wentzell

Mr. Brandon Davis Wentzell, age 24, of 258 Litchfield Street, Rockmart passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2008 in Birmingham, AL.


Brandon was born in East Point, GA on August 30, 1983 a son of Joseph Wentzell and Angel Ellison Wentzell. He moved to Rockmart in 1992 and in 2002 he moved to Birmingham, AL where he graduated from Pinson Valley High School in 2003. He served in the National Guard and also in the U.S. Air Force. While in the Air Force he served a tour of duty in Iraq. Brandon was preceded in death by grandparents Joseph and Betty Wentzell.


Survivors include his father, Joseph Wentzell, Rockmart; mother, Angel Wentzell, New Smyrna Beach, FL; two brothers: Charles Wentzell, of TN and Wesley Wentzell, Atlanta; sister, Rachel McGuire, New Smyrna Beach, FL; grandmother, Ann Bassett, New Smyrna Beach, FL; great grandmother, Gertrude Ellison, Smyrna, GA; uncle, James Wentzell, LaGrange; aunt Bonnie Lentz, Rockmart; cousins: Johnny Walker, Chris Walker, Jason Walker and Paul Walker.


Memorial services will be held Friday, April 25th at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Minister Alvis Miller officiating.
