Braydon Kole Ellis

Mr. Braydon Kole Ellis, age 16, of Taylorsville, GA passed away Sunday, September 24, 2023.

Braydon was born in Cartersville, GA on November 2, 2006, a son of Matthew Ellis and the former Becki Sutton. Braydon had lived all of his life in Taylorsville and was attending Rockmart High School where he was in his junior year. Braydon was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, yard work, and welding. He worked for Boondocks Land Management in lawncare and attended Freedom Church in Acworth.

Braydon was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jeff Ellis.

Survivors include his mother, Becki Sutton Abernathy of Taylorsville; father, Matthew Ellis of Rockmart; two brothers, Bryce Abernathy of Taylorsville and Grayson Ellis of Rockmart; sister, Kylie Abernathy of Taylorsville; grandparents, Ricky and Donna Sutton of Taylorsville and Ginger Ellis of Rockmart; aunts and uncles, Kyle Sutton (Haley), Jennifer Ellis Terry (Paul); numerous cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 2, 2023 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church of Rockmart with Rev. Jason Odom and Brother Greg Wimpy officiating. Interment will follow in the Taylorsville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Bryce Abernathy, Brody McElwee, Dawson Sutton, McKoy Atkins, Kaden Spinks, and Grayson Ellis.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home & Crematory.
