Charlene Cole

Mrs. Charlene Cole, age 86, of Rockmart, GA, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021.

Mrs. Cole was born on October 12, 1934. She lived the greater part of her life in Minden, LA and was of Baptist Faith. Mrs. Cole loved to read her Bible and going to church. She also enjoyed arts and crafts and spending time with her precious grandchildren. She worked as a hotel manager for Southern Inn. Charlene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edmond Cole and her son, Danny Cole.

Mrs. Cole is survived by her loving children: Diane Mercer and her husband, Ricky of Rockmart, GA, Cindy Cole of Dallas, TX, David Cole and his wife, Leona of Biloxi, MS, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In keeping with the families wishes, a private graveside service will be held at Rockmart Memorial Gardens. The family will have a celebration of life service for the public at a later date.
