Charles Ingle

Mr. Charles Ingle, age 85, lifelong resident of Rockmart, GA, passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2021.

Mr. Ingle was born on November 30, 1935 in Rockmart, GA to his late parents: Charlie “Buck” Ingle and Omie Jacobs Ingle. Charles was a proud United States Army Veteran. He worked at Lockheed for 8 years and then owned and operated his own business in Rockmart for many years. Mr. Ingle was a loving father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters: Mildred Manning, Evelyn Savannah Formby and Pauline Ingle Bailey and brother, Dewey Ingle Sr.

Mr. Ingle is survived by his daughters: Tammy Sanders and Gina Ingle, grandson, Charles Russ Sanders and his wife, Kelsey, one great granddaughter: Charlee Reece Sanders and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mr. Charles Ingle will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021 at 3:00 PM from The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Kenny Dodd and Mr. Johnny Moates officiating. Interment will follow the service at Rose Hill Cemetery with Brown-Wright Post 12 providing military honors.

Serving as pallbearers will be the following gentlemen: Preston Herring, Billy Wills, Brian Robinson, Terry "Bones' Harcourt Sr., Tommy Shaw and Mark Williams.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, August 6, 2021 from 1:00 PM until the service begins at 3:00 PM.
