Charles Joe Ray "Wolf" Osborn

Mr. Charles Joe Ray "Wolf" Osborn, age 53, of Rockmart, GA passed away suddenly Friday, August 30, 2019.

He was born in Fruita, Colorado, a son of Charles Albert Osborn and Gayetta Louise Haller Osborn. A native of Colorado, Mr. Osborn joined the United States Navy where he served his country for twenty three years serving on five different carriers before retiring. During the twenty three years in the service he traveled around the world. He had made Rockmart home for the past three years, moving from Hiram. Mr. Osborn was a member of the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps, the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association 25-8 and was one of the original members of the Lone Wolf Association which he was a part of for twelve years. He had a love for guns and was a marksman rifle shooter and he was also a leather craftsman. Mr. Osborn was currently employed with Trulite Glass and Aluminum in safety and quality control. As his daughter says it best, Mr. Osborn was a son, brother, father, friend, sailor, fire fighter, race car driver, gun smith, leather craftsman, mechanic and Chief and Sea Cadet Leader.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Albert Osborn; maternal grandmother, Hazel Winters Hyde; maternal grandfather, Frank Haller, Jr,; paternal grandmother, Margaret Ann Delauntrip Fallico Osborn; paternal grandfather, Henry Fallico; step-paternal grandfather, Milton Elmore Osborn; maternal uncles: Monte Joe Haller and Lonnie Ray Haller.

Survivors include his wife, Sabrina Lannom, Rockmart; daughter, Katie Osborn, Lakehurst, NJ; son, Kyle Lannom, Rockmart; mother, Gayetta Osborn, Fruita, CO; two sisters: Hazel Ann Osborn Hensley (Wes), Ridge Crest, CA and Gaylee Hetland (Mike), Grand Junction, CO; brothers and sisters in law: Beverly Brown (Mike), Cartersville, Bianca Croft (Michael), Midway, Raymand Estes (Pat), Glennville and Bob Estes (Lillian), Hinesville; father in law, Jose Quintanilla, Hinesville; a number of nieces and nephews; his grand pup, Cuppy and his fellow members of the Sea Cadets and Combat Vets also survive.

Celebration of life services will be held Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 2:00 pm at McBrayer Ranch, 2123 Pine Valley Road, Powder Springs, GA 30127 with military honors and eulogies given by Gaylee Hetland, Tony Casteel, Sabrina Lannom, Todd Hoobler and Dewayne Shiver. Mr. Osborn's ashes will be scattered at sea at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial donations be made to the Sea Cadets or the Combat Vets 25-8 in memory of Mr. Osborn.
