Choice B. Anderson

Mr. Choice B. Anderson, age 76, of 41 Emmett Road, Cedartown passed away Monday, November 10, 2008 following several years of declining health.


He was born in Cherokee County, AL on July 24, 1932 a son of the late O.B. Anderson amd Dovie Gladden Anderson. Mr. Anderson had lived the greater part of his life in Cedartown where he was a retired employee of Bill Porter Industries. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Christine Hicks Anderson on November 2, 2000.


Survivors include two daughters: Mrs. Glenda Bevis and Ms. Lillie Anderson both of Cedartown; two sons: Mr. Archie Mac Anderson and Mr. Raymond Anderson both of Cedartown; three grandsons raised as sons: Mr. Michael Busby, Cedartown, Mr. Choice Raymond (Peanut) Anderson, Cedartown and Mr. Martin Short, Tallapoosa; six additional grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Doris Johnson, Cedartown.


Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Towe officiating. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery.


Pallbearers will include: Michael Busby, Raymond Anderson, Gene Hooper, Jessie Cummings, Chris Cummings and Daniel Cummings.


The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
