Christopher Allen Overstreet

Mr. Christopher Allen Overstreet, age 65, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2024, at his residence.

Mr. Overstreet was born in Guntersville, AL, on November 25, 1958, son of the late Betty Jean Bryant Overstreet.  He had lived the greater part of his life in Polk County and was of the Baptist faith.  He was employed with Americo Logistics and enjoyed mechanic work.  Mr. Overstreet loved to cook and enjoyed race cars.  He loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Overstreet was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Chad Overstreet; a brother, Wade Overstreet, sister, Janice Cross, nephew, Joseph Riddle, and a great-nephew, Andrew Sanders.

Mr. Overstreet is survived by his wife, Vickie Singleton Overstreet, whom he married June 11, 1999; three children, Amanda Overstreet, Kimberly (Joel) Clower, and James (Jennifer) Samples; twelve grandchildren, Dylan, Devon, Shayna, Kristen, Savannah, Emily, Andrea, Dakota, Kirsten, Kaylom, Ethan, and Wesson; five great-grandchildren, Amara, Sade, Ava, Olivia, and Paypay; four sisters, Kathy, Linda, Annette, and Audrey; brother, Johnny.

In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Overstreet will be cremated, and no formal services are planned at this time.
