Mr. Clint Allen Redden, age 45, of Oak Street Aragon, GA passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2011 in a Rome Medical Center.
He was born in Rome, GA on February 3, 1966 a son of the late Floyd Henry Redden and Almyer Grant Redden. Clint lived the early years of his life in Floyd County before moving to Polk County where he had lived the greater part of his life. He was a former employee of the City of Rome and had also worked for Zartic and Tip Top Poultry.
He is survived by three children: Kristan Michelle Redden, Raquel Paige Redden and Joshua Allen Redden all of Rockmart; eight brothers and sisters: Floyd Junior Redden and wife Wonda, Rockmart, Helen Redden Jackson, Silver Creek, Hoyt E. Redden and wife Ann, Valdosta, Robert L. Redden and wife Janet, Euharlee, Sylvia Redden Dutton and husband Tommy, Lafayette, Patricia(Trish) Redden Wood and husband, Mark, Lindale, Brenda Redden Grimes, Aragon and Teresa Redden Morrow and husband Roger, Cedartown; 16 nieces and nephews; 27 great nieces and nephews and 3 great great nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 20, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Danny Bratcher, Rev. Michael Edwards and Rev. Vic Sullins officiating. Interment will follow in the New Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the funeral of Mr. Clint Allen Redden.
