Cody Andrew Stephenson

Cody Andrew Stephenson, age 32, of Buchanan, GA, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2025, at his residence.

Cody was born in Orange Park, FL, son of Daniel “Red” Stephenson and Levitta Baker. He had lived his childhood years in Florida and moved to Polk County at age 13. He was a graduate of Rockmart High School and lived the past 4 years in Haralson County. Cody worked at Murata Electronics Distribution and was a member of Bellview Baptist Church. He loved fast cars, especially his Ford Mustang and his older Chevy Malibu. Cody enjoyed working out and running, and spending time with his family, especially his nephew. He was a tender-hearted person who enjoyed eating, specifically Mexican food.

Cody was preceded in death by grandfather, Robert D. Stephenson, grandfather, Jerry Baker, and grandmother, Frances Baker.

Cody is survived by his father, Daniel “Red” Stephenson; mother, Levitta Baker; sister, Kayla (Tyler) McArthur; nephew, Truett Jace “TJ” McArthur; grandmother, Patricia Ann Stephenson. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

Funeral services for Cody will be held on Sunday afternoon, January 19, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Camp officiating. Eulogies will be delivered by family members. Interment will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.

Cody’s family will receive friends at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Saturday evening, January 18, 2025, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will include Kevin Smith, Rick Hines, Matt Robinson, Blake Davis, Terry Baker, and Jackson Baker. Bryan Stephenson, John Stephenson, Collin Bayes, and Jeremy Baker will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home & Crematory has charge of the arrangements for Cody Andrew Stephenson.
