Curtis Dale Costlow

Mr. Curtis Dale Costlow, age 63, of Aragon, GA, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024.

Curtis was born in Rockmart, GA on July 15, 1960, a son of Loyd Neil Costlow, Sr. and Barbara Green Sanders. He had a love for music and treasured his collection of Conway Twitty and Elvis. He also had a love for wrestling and enjoyed spending time on the farm with his animals.  Curtis adored his grandchildren and cherished his time with them.

Curtis was preceded in death by his stepmother, Sandra Gail Campbell Costlow and a sister-in-law, Jane Costlow. 

Curtis is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Elizabeth Kiser Costlow of Aragon, to whom he married on May 19, 1980; two children, Chris Curtis (Rebekah) Costlow of Aragon, and Joni Diane (Dustin) Runyan of Rockmart; grandchildren, Caleb (Timberly) Arnold, Addison Runyan, Chelsea Runyan, Emily Costlow, Gemma Schrader, and Olivia Runyan; father, Neil Costlow, Sr. of Aragon; mother, Barbara Green Sanders, three sisters, Gail Haygood, Denise (Donny) Forsyth, and Ann (Michael) Bagley, all of Taylorsville; three brothers, Loyd Neil Costlow, Jr. of Taylorsville, Barry (Mandy) Costlow of Taylorsville, and Danny (Jan) Costlow of Hinton, GA; two step-sisters, Janet and Sharon.

Funeral services for Curtis will be held Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church with Rev. Brent Edwards and Rev. Tony Lyle officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Cody Costlow, Austin Costlow, Dylan Costlow, Elijah Bagley, Isaiah Bagley, and Titus Bagley.   Honorary pallbearers will include Eric Forsyth, Brian Costlow, Matthew Costlow, Frank Forsyth, and Clint Forsyth.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, January 30, 2024, from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
