Daniel James Echols

Mr. Daniel James Echols, age 23, of Rockmart, GA passed away Monday, December 7, 2020 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Daniel was born in Carrollton, GA on November 19, 1997, son of Danny Echols and Gracie Schultz Echols. Daniel had lived all of his life in Rockmart where he was a 2017 graduate of Rockmart High School. He was very active in his church, CrossView Community Church, where he was a youth leader and a member of the praise and worship band. He was also active in FCA while in school. He loved the Lord with all of his heart and loved his church family. Daniel enjoyed camping, making others smile, and loved life in general.

Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Scotty Echols.

Survivors include his parents, Danny and Gracie Echols, Rockmart; four brothers: Timothy Echols, Nathan Echols, Matthew Echols, and Noah Lowery; three sisters: Haley Echols, Jewel Echols, and Brianna Echols; grandparents: Sue and Michael Schultz, Acworth and Joyce and James Echols, Temple; great-grandmother, Lila Cox, Acworth; girlfriend, Madison McMorris, Aragon; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 13, 2020 at 4:00 pm at West Ridge Church in Dallas with Rev. Sandy McClure officiating. Private family interment services will follow.

Pallbearers will include: Matthew Echols, Timothy Echols, Chandler Cook, Brandon Graham, Josh Kirby, and Dakota Padgent. Honorary pallbearers will include: Nathan Echols, Noah Lowery, Aiden Morgan, Robert Fennell, and Jonathan Schultz.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:30 pm until the funeral hour at West Ridge Church. Social distancing guidelines will be followed and masks are recommended.

The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements for Mr. Daniel James Echols.
