Danny E. Millican, Sr.

Mr. Danny E. Millican, Sr., age 61, of Calloway Court Rockmart, GA passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at his residence.


He was born in Cedartown, GA on January 15, 1949 a son of Earl C. Millican and Pauline Bright Millican. Mr. Millican lived in California for over thirty years before returning to Polk County. While in California he was employed as sales manager for a Mercedez Benz Dealership. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl C. Millican, by a daughter, Angie Proctor and by two brothers: Tony Millican and Scott Millican.


Survivors include two sons, Danny Millican, Jr., Rockmart and Clinton Silas Bright of California; daughter, Kim Millican, Rockmart; mother, Pauline Hau, Bakersville, California; sister, Linda O?Bryant, Powder Springs; two brothers: Terry Porter, Bakersville, California and Dennis Alexander, Cedartown; four grandchildren , three nieces and four nephews also survive.


Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 2:00 p.m.in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Ingram officiating. Commital will follow in Polk Memory Gardens.


The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the memorial hour at the funeral home.
