David Johnson

Mr. David Johnson, age 84, of Rockmart, GA, passed away Wednesday evening, March 12, 2025.

Mr. Johnson was born in Cedartown, GA, on June 27, 1940, son of the late Joseph Allen Johnson and Mary Orebaugh Johnson. He was a graduate of Cedartown High School, a member of Victory Baptist Church, Praise Sunday School Class, and the Handy Hornets, and was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Johnson was the owner-operator of Johnson Discount Auto, serving patrons since 1976. Mr. Johnson was a member of the Davette Masonic Lodge #513 F&AM, Cedar Valley Shrine Club, and enjoyed woodworking. He enjoyed trips to the Smoky Mountains, the Gulf of America, and traveling out west.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Glenda Deems Johnson; Daniel (Dana) Johnson; grandchildren, Gevin (Breanna), Willow, Blakley, Wrenly, Trent, friend, Maggie.

Memorial services for Mr. Johnson will be held on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in Victory Baptist Church with Rev. Barry Snapp officiating.
