Dean Hebert

Mr. Dean Hebert, age 68 of Rockmart, GA passed away Sunday, May 26, 2019 at his residence.

He was a native of Schriever, LA and a resident of Rockmart, GA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to a viewing on Monday, June 3, 2019, from 10 to 10:30 am at Samart Funeral Home, West Park (4511 West Park Avenue), Gray, LA. A grave side service with military honors will be held at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Slidell, LA at 1:30 pm on Monday, June 3, 2019.

Dean is survived by two sisters, Wanda and Rosalie Hebert; a sister-in-law, Janice Hebert; nieces, Penny Hebert, Cindy Matherne (Mark), Tammie Trahan, Karen Toups, and Dawn LeBouef; nephews, Ernest Mendoza (Leann), Scott Mendoza, and Doug Woodard.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Berwick and Clara Lecompte Hebert; and a brother, Richard Hebert.

Dean proudly served his country in the U. S. Navy on the USS Patrick Henry and was stationed at Pearl Harbor. He was a member of the VFW Post 5097 in Thiboduax, LA, VFW Post 4911 in Rome, GA and American Legion Post 111 of Dallas, GA.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma, West Park is in charge of arrangements.

The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home of Rockmart was in charge of local arrangements.
