Deane Fennell Coffman Cochran

Mrs. Deane Fennell Coffman Cochran, age 70, of Rockmart, GA passed away Friday, April 10, 2015.

She was born in Paulding County, GA on May 26, 1944, a daughter of the late Earl Edmond Fennell and Willie Mae Tant Fennell. Mrs. Cochran had lived most of her life in Rockmart where she was a member of the Springdale Baptist Church. She was an avid piano player and loved taking trips to the mountains. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cochran was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Douglas Cochran in 2014; first husband, Joseph Mayo Coffman in 2004; daughter, Sherry Lynn Coffman; and three brothers: Milton, Vernon and Leon Fennell.

Survivors include her son, Joseph (Joey) Coffman, Rockmart; two daughters: Karen Ballard, Rockmart and Rhonda Nicholson, Rome; two step sons: Billy Cochran, Dacula and Joey Cochran, Rockmart; nine grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; four step grandchildren; three step great grandchildren; and two brothers: Duane Fennell and Allen Fennell.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Springdale Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby McDowell and Rev. Danny Roberson officiating. Interment will follow in the Springdale Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Cochran will lie instate at the church on Tuesday from 12 noon until the funeral hour.

Active pallbearers will include: Johnny Ballard, Darren Nicholson, Dekota Cook, Autumn Tomlinson, Chuck Ingle and Bruce Fennell. Honorary pallbearers will include: David Willingham, Zach Cook, Austin Cook, Jeremy Cook and Ryan Manning.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 until 9 p.m. at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
