Deborah Sue Taylor

Mrs. Deborah Sue Taylor, age 65, of Rockmart, GA passed away Sunday, April 12, 2020 in a Rome nursing center following a lengthy illness.

She was born in Statham, GA on August 6, 1954 a daughter of the late John Stapp and the late Helen Perry Stapp. Mrs. Taylor was a graduate of Bass High School and was a retired employee of Shaw Industries. She had lived the greater part of her life in Polk County and was a devoted member of the Vanwert Baptist Church and loved her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Kenneth (Ken) Taylor, Sr. on January 22, 2016;by four sisters and a brother.

Survivors include three sons: Greg Taylor (Amanda), Rockmart, Kenny Taylor (Skyler), Lafayette and Matt Taylor (Kellie), Rockmart; twenty grandchildren; two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will include: Greg Taylor, Kenny Taylor, Matt Taylor, Logan McMichen, Christian Taylor, John Taylor and Austin Cook.

In keeping with local, state and federal guidelines graveside funeral and interment services will be private on Wednesday, April 15th. in the Taylorsville Cemetery with a grandson John Taylor and Rev. Danny Dunn officiating.
