Deborah Turner

Mrs. Deborah Turner, age 50, of 2021 1st Avenue, Rockmart passed away Saturday, July 10, 2010 at her residence.


Deborah was born in Polk County on January 15, 1960 a daughter of Robert Lowell South and Ethel Maude Hlousek South. She was of the Baptist faith and had lived the greater part of her life in the Rockmart and Aragon area. Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Turner on April 29, 2001 and by a son, Adam Turner on July 11, 2009.


Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Jami McNair, Dallas, GA; three sisters: Mrs. Sandra Burke, Hiram, Mrs. Connie Cramer, Hapeville and Mrs. Reba Forrister, Rockmart; eight grandchildren also survive.


Funeral services will be held Monday, July 12, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Powers officiating. Interment will follow in the Aragon Cemetery.


Pallbearers will include: Lee Stringer, William Sisson, Steven Barber, David Carter, Travis Forrister and Don Cheatwood.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
