Dennis Ray Singleton Sr.

Mr. Dennis Ray Singleton, Sr. age 64, of Rockmart, GA, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022.

Dennis was born on July 12, 1957 in Rockmart, GA, to his parents: Forrest Singleton and Velma Green Singleton. He lived the greater part of his life in Rockmart and was Christian by faith. He played Santa Clause for many years, which he enjoyed very much. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Velvet Moore Singleton, who passed away on December 21, 2011. He was also preceded in death by his 6 brothers: Rex, Charles, Pat, Barry, Randy and Quentin Singleton.

Dennis is survived by his children: Amanda Lee Langley (Brad) of Bowden, GA; Dennis Ray Singleton, Jr. of Rockmart, GA and Allison Sauce of Rockmart, GA; 6 grandchildren; sister, Vickie Overstreet of Rockmart, GA and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Mr. Dennis Ray Singleton, Sr. will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home. In keeping with Mr. Singleton’s wishes, his body will be cremated after the visitation.
