Diane Harper Holley

Mrs. Diane Harper Holley, age 66, of 875 Big Nose Drive, Centre, AL and formerly of Rockmart passed away Thursday, September 25, 2008 in a Rome Medical Center following a lengthy illness.

She was born on May 26, 1942 in Polk County, GA a daughter of the late William P. Harper, Sr. and Frances Louise Matthews Harper. Mrs. Holley had been a resident of Centre, AL since July 2004 moving from Rockmart where she had lived most of her life. She was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church and retired in 2004 with 42 years service from Engineered Fabrics Corporation where she had been employed as an office administrator.

Survivors include her husband, Mr. Olin Holley, Centre, AL; two sons: Mr. Allen Wilson and wife Kim, Rockmart, Mr. Greg Wilson and wife Valorie, Rockmart; two step daughters: Mrs. Suzanne Vines, Cedartown and Mrs. Dawn Austin, Rockmart; two step sons: Mr. John Holley and Mr. Gary Holley both of Rockmart; four brothers: Mr. Bill Harper, Rockmart, Mr. Bob Harper, Rockmart, Mr. Doug Harper, Villa Rica and Mr. Glenn Harper, Cave Spring; 17 grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 27th at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Davis and Rev. Ricky Pollard officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include: Alex Wilson, Adam Holley, Gary Holley, Josh Crowder, Gary Crane and Scott Mears.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
