Diane Lee Kirk

Mrs. Diane Lee Kirk, age 47, of Rockmart, GA passed away Sunday, June 22, 2014 in a Rome medical center.

She was born in Rockmart, GA on January 23, 1967, a daughter of the late Billy Lee and Sara Byrd Lee. She had lived all of her life in Rockmart and had been an employee of Jefferson Southern. Mrs. Krik was of the Baptist faith and had attended Hills Creek Baptist Church. She loved the outdoors, especially camping and trout fishing. She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Lee and a brother, Larry Lee.

Survivors include her husband, Steve Kirk, Rockmart, to whom she was married on July 7, 1993; two sons: Brian Davenport, Rockmart and Josh Kirk, Pine Log, GA; mother, Sara Lee, Rockmart; sister, Tammy Lindsey, Rockmart; two brothers: Ricky Lee, Cedartown and Allen Lee, Tallapoosa; a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside funeral and interment services will be held Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Rose Hill Cemetery with Bro. Tony Baker officiating.

Pallbearers will include: Tony Baker, Bradley Lindsey, Traver Haney, Tony Lindsey, Jason Costlow and Steven Lee.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
