Dondra Lynn Graves

Mrs. Dondra Lynn Graves, age 58, of Aragon, GA passed away Monday, October 16, 2017 following a lengthy illness.

She was born in Rome, GA on November 26, 1958, a daughter of James Donald Motes and Jeanette Carlton Motes. Lynn lived the greater part of her life in Polk County where she was a member of the New Prospect Baptist Church. Lynn enjoyed arts and crafts and was an animal lover and advocate. She was a devoted mother to her little dog, Colt.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Donald Motes on December 2, 2009.

Survivors include her husband, Jim Graves, Aragon; mother, Jeanette Motes, Rockmart ; step-son, Chris Graves, Savannah; step-daughter, Kim Edwards, Dalton; three step-grandchildren; special friend, Paul Lindsey, Rockmart and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Purser and Rev. Stanley Koonce officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include: Harvey Smith, Stacey Koonce, Adron Jefferson, Scott Roberts, Bobby Helms and Chris Graves.

The family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 12 noon until the funeral hour at the funeral home.
