Ed Wiser

Mr. Ed Wiser, age 81, of Cedartown passed away Monday, August 26, 2019 in a Rome medical center.

He was born in Oklahoma on April 14, 1938, a son of the late Robert Wiser and the late Barbara Manning Wiser. Ed had made Polk County home since 1993 moving here from Missouri. He was a retired veteran of the Unites States Army having twenty two years of service. He loved to fish, play computer games and watch TV.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his three children: Dean Wiser, Allen Wiser and Danna Willingham.

Survivors include his wife, Janet Harbison Wiser of Cedartown to whom he was married on October 1, 1963; three grandchildren: Jordan Wiser, Andrew McGarrity and Dustin Willingham; four great-grandchildren: Haygen Luffy, Zoey Luffy, Anslee McGarrity and Lincoln McGarrity; two brothers: Don Wiser and Billy Wiser; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Wiser will be cremated and no formal services will be held at this time.
