Elizabeth Ann Pendley

Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Pendley, age 85, of Rockmart, GA passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019 at her residence.

She was born in Cedartown, GA on April 24, 1934, a daughter of the late Burt Daniel and the late Julia Presley Daniel. Mrs. Pendley spent most of her early adult life in Alpharetta, moving back to Polk County where she lived in Rockmart for the past twenty years. She was a member of the Crossroads Memorial Baptist Church. Some of the things Mrs. Pendley enjoyed were: reading, sewing, puzzles, singing, dancing, gardening and loved helping others.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons: Bobby Pendley and Timmy Pendley; and nine brothers.

She is survived by her three daughters: Evelyn Pendley, Ellijay, Kathy Coley, Rockmart and Tammie Taylor, Rockmart; twelve grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; brother, Jimmy Daniel, Blue Ridge; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services for Mrs. Pendley will be held Sunday, June 30, 2019 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Snapp officiating.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:00 pm until the memorial hour at the funeral home.
