Ernestine W. Lively

Mrs. Ernestine Lively, age 91, of Cartersville, GA, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Ernestine was born on December 15, 1929 in Aragon, GA and lived in Aragon for most of her life. She was retired from Sears, where she worked as the Division Manager for many years. She was a faithful member of Aragon Baptist Church. Mrs. Lively was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Lively was preceded in death by her loving mother, Clara Barton Anderson, brother, Joseph Wood, and sister, Billie Joyce Wood Ezzell.

Ernestine is survived by her loving children: Kevin Lively and his wife, Susan of Cartersville, GA, daughter, Myra Henson and her husband, Tommy of Acworth, GA, 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services for Mrs. Ernestine Lively will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Aragon Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Fain officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be the following gentlemen: Kevin Lively, Tommy Henson, Scott Henson, Richard Amann, Jacob Amann and Kaden Pope.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that memorial donations be made to Aragon Baptist Church or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in loving memory of Mrs. Lively.
