Fain Deems

Kenneth "Fain" Deems, age 78, lifelong resident of Aragon, GA, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021. He was born on December 29, 1942 in Aragon, GA, to his late parents, Willard and Annie Mae Deems. Fain was retired from Goodyear. Fain loved to hunt and enjoyed farming! He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters: Jewell Pendergraff and Agnes Bowers, brothers: Coy Deems, Raven Deems, Raiford Deems and Floyd Deems.

Fain survived by his daughter, Gay Weaver and her husband, Kenneth of Aragon, GA, son, Shane Deems of Taylorsville, GA, granddaughters: Ashley Hopkins and Amber Weaver, great grandchildren: Autumn Hopkins, Sadie Hopkins, Payton Mulkey and Preston Mulkey, sisters: Sara Moates, Joyce Bowman, Onita Lindsey, brothers: Alton Deems and Mack Deems and a number of nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Fain will be held at Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Graveside services for Fain will be private. Serving as pallbearers will be the following gentlemen: Andy Deems, Russ Hopkins, Cheston Haygood, Al Deems, Richard Harris and Snook Smith. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Mr. Payton Mulkey.
