Forrest Gregory Wolfe

Mr. Forrest Gregory Wolfe, age 61, of Taylorsville, GA passed away Monday, March 10, 2025.

Mr. Wolfe was born in Rome, GA on September 14, 1963, a son of David Wolfe and Freddie Williams Wolfe. Greg had lived the greater part of his life in Taylorsville and was a member of Bethel Crossroads Baptist Church. He was a skilled carpenter in the construction industry. Greg was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. His greatest enjoyment came in the time spent with his family and friends.

Greg was preceded in death by his father, David Wolfe; grandparents, Fred and Canzady Williams and Walter and Lora Wolfe; nephew, Shaun Roberson; and Elmer Roberson.

Survivors include his mother, Freddie Wolfe; sons, Cary Wolfe and Jake (Lauren) Wolfe; grandchildren, Carter and Katy Grace and Natalie and Levi; sisters, Cindy (John) Gurniewicz, Lynn (Rusty) Lanier, Dawn (Lance) Wood; mother of his children, Teresa (Kenneth) Wilson; nieces and nephews, Jennifer and Grayson Roberson, Jamie Lanier, Hannah and Zachary Prokop, Lee Wilson, and Jeromy and Hannah Cooper; special friends Larry and Mary Roberson and Gary and Lisa Bunch.

Funeral services for Greg will be held Thursday morning, March 13, 2025 at 11:00 am in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Rusty Lanier officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethel Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, March 12, 2025 from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will include John Gurniewicz, Lance Wood, Jamie Lanier, Steve Harris, Nick Harris, and Lee Carroll. Honorary pallbearers will include Grayson Roberson, Larry Roberson, Gary Bunch, David Lanier, and Mickey Lanham.
