Frances Anita Roddy

Mrs. Frances Anita Roddy, age 91, of Rockmart and formally of Dayton, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at her residence.

She was born in Shelbyville, Tennessee on April 8, 1925 to the late Jimmy and Anita Rogers.

Mrs. Roddy was a member of Grace Church of the Nazarene in Red Bank, Tn.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jennings "Tub" Roddy on July 8, 2010; son Jerry Hall; grandson Ashely Scott; brother: Jim Rogers and sister: Helen Choate.

She is survived by a son, Donnie (Sharon) Roddy, Rockmart, GA; daughters, Judy White, Rockmart, GA and Rita Scott Buchanan, GA; sisters Louise O'Neal Morganton, N.C., Anna Mae Branum, Decatur, Alabama; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 16, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Minister O.L.Hart officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasentview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 12 noon until 2 pm at the Coulter Garrison Funeral Home in Dayton, Tennessee.
