Frances Pinkard White

Mrs. Frances Pinkard White, age 94, of Rockmart, GA passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at her residence.

She was born June 11, 1920 a daughter of John Pinkard and Martha Craton Pinkard. Mrs. White had lived her entire life in Polk County where she was a member of the New Prospect Baptist Church. She was a homemaker, an avid gardener and loved flowers. Mrs. White was loved by her family. Her children and grandchildren enjoyed all of their visits. She read her Bible until she was unable to hold it up. She loved the Lord.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Bradley C. White, a son, Franklin White and a grandson, Brad White.

Survivors include a daughter, Estelle Lipham and her husband Frank, Rockmart; sons: Gerald White and his wife Brenda, Rockmart and Darrell White, Rockmart; 9 grandchildren, 12, great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will held Friday, December 12, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Owen "Bud" Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Bellview Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include: Corey Lipham, Casey Blackmon, David Lipham, Blake Harris, Andy Turner, Austin Turner and Jamie White. Honorary pallbearers will include: Barry White, Jerry Ross, Terry Crump and Mathew Hall.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 until 9 p.m. at the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home.
