Fred A. "Buddy" White

Mr. Fred A. "Buddy" White, age 88, of Aragon passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at his residence.

He was born in Marietta, GA on October 26, 1930, a son of the late Fred P. White and the late Ellie Lorene Conger White. Mr. White lived in Dallas, GA for thirty four years before moving to Aragon, GA twelve and a half years ago. He was a member of the Live Oak Baptist Church where he was known as the church comedian. Mr. White loved horseback riding and cutting grass. During his working career he worked for Beers Construction and also was self employed as a concrete finisher.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Nell Durham White on November 27, 2009; son, David White; two brothers; and three sisters.

Survivors include his children: Debbie Cooper and her husband ,Wayne, Kingston, Larry White and his wife, Kathy, Dallas, Carey Oden and his wife, Kathy, Birmingham, Eleanor White, Acworth, Toni Shumacher, Austell, Cheryl Singleton, Kennesaw and Edgar White, Kennesaw; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brother, James White; sister, Gladys White; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 5, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Live Oak Baptist Church with Rev. Anthony Osborn officiating and the eulogy will be given by his granddaughter, Chasity Chance. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will include: Wayne Cooper, Kaleb Chance, Cody Chance, Cooper Chance, Kelly Chance and Mike Savage.

The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 12 noon until 1:30 pm at the funeral home.
