Imogene Williams

Mrs. Imogene Williams, age 76, a lifelong resident of Aragon, GA, passed away at her home on Tuesday, March 12, 2024. 

Imogene was born on September 16, 1947 in Aragon to her parents; Horace W. Streetman and Louise Cody Streetman. She was a faithful member of Euharlee Baptist Church and loved her Lord and Savior immensely. In her free time, she enjoyed singing, cooking and most importantly spending time with her family whom she adored. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Horace W. Streetman. 

Imogene is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Allen Williams; children: Jeff (Amy) Williams, Michael (Tiffany) Williams and Brent (Kelley) Williams; mother, Louise Streetman; grandchildren: Andrew Williams, Jonathan Williams, Morgan Wigley and Haley Beckom; great-grandchildren: Cynthia, Nicholas and Rosalie; sisters: Linda Williams and Sandra (Neil) Posey; brother, Steven (Kay) Streetman and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral Services for Mrs. Imogene Williams will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Euharlee Baptist Church in Aragon at 4:00 PM with Rev. Billy Chambers and Rev. Josh Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Williams will lie in state at Euharlee Baptist Church on Friday from 3:00 PM until the service begins at 4:00 PM. 

Serving as pallbearers will be the following gentlemen: Jerry Childers, Donnie Williams, David Johnson, Terry Spencer, Bryan Streetman and Tommy Robinson. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Jason Godfrey and Keith Streetman. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
